Basic play
Preparations
•Switch the TV ON and select “Video” as the TV input.
•Switch on the stereo system’s power if the player has been connected to a stereo system.

For your reference:
•When the menu continues onto another
screen, pressing SKIP (in the case of the
main unit, SKIP/SEARCH) will show the
next screen. (The buttons to be used may
differ depending on the disc. For opera­
tion, refer to the jacket of the disc.)
•To return to the menu screen, press
TITLE, MENU or RETURN during play of
DVDs or press RETURN during play of
Video CDs. (The buttons to be used may
differ depending on the disc.)
•When
0
appears on the TV monitor
when a button is being operated, it means
that the corresponding operation is not
available by the player or the disc.
•The PLAY/DISPLAY button of the main
unit functions both as a PLAY button and
a DISPLAY button (for displaying the
On-Screen Menu Icons). If the button is
pressed in the stop mode, playback will
start and if pressed during play, the
On-Screen Menu Icons will be displayed.
