5.6 Horizontals can be attached either before or after the frame is installed in the opening. Prior to
attaching intermediate horizontals, apply sealant to the face of shear block and along outer face of
mullion where horizontal will intersect the face. Roll the horizontal over the shear blocks and attach
with (1) FS-55 #10 x ½” Phillips Pan Head screw. See Figure 20 & 21.
