Optional EAA-1 installation:
The EAA-1 energy absorbing anchor is attached to the
fg-5100 framing system using (1) FS-27 (#12 x 1/2" PPHSTS).
The anchor may be oriented either perpendicular, parrallel or
at any angle to the wall that provides adequate access to the
perimeter fastener. If locating the anchor parrallel to the
framing system it will be necessary to drill a 5/8" access hole
through the glazing pocket to access the perimeter fastener.
This fastener will be located in the anchor adjacent to the tab

that shall be of type to provide proper attachment to the
subsrate around the project opening. When anchoring the
door jamb for the FG-5100 system it will be necessary to also
install the CH-55 channel support at each anchor and secure
this channel to the frame using (2) FS-27 fasteners.
Threshold Installation.
Each threshold shall be attached to the frame using a TH-FP-4 clip at each end. The clip will be
attached to the door frame using (2) FS-22 (#10-24 x 1 /2" PFHMS) and the threshold to the clip
also with (2) FS-22 fasteners. The threshold will be anchored to the perimeter using 1/4" flat head
