Sending DTMF tones

This function is not possible with all mobile
phones.
Answering machines or other devices can
be controlled via DTMF tones, e.g. for re-
mote query functions.
̈ To transmit individual characters:
During a call select the required char-
acters using the COMAND controller.
or
̈ Press the corresponding button on the
COMAND control unit keypad.
Every selected character is transmitted
immediately.
