3. Accept the agreement license to continue the installation. If you
do not agree the license agreement, the installation will be
cancel.
4. Select the destination path if user wants another installation
location other than the default. Otherwise, click Next to start
installation.
5. After installation, choose to restart the computer immediately.
6. After computer restarted, you may now run the MXR Client Software. To run the application, click on
your PC desktop or click Start > Programs > DVR > DVR Server > MXR.
2.3 Using the DVR For the First Time
For the first time using the DVR server, user needs to setup the connection with DVR server and
IP cameras.
The DVR server doesn ’t support the remote setup through the Internet (WAN) for the first time setup.
Please have your PC and the DVR server at same LAN segment (network).
Please confirm the following items before connecting with the DVR server and IP cameras.
1. Make sure the HDD is installed inside the DVR unit.
2. Make sure all the connecting devices are well connected with the DVR unit and have their
own power supply.
3. Make sure the DVR unit is installed on your network and power on.
4. Make sure the all IP cameras are installed on your network and are functional.
5. Make sure the MXR Client Software has been installed on the PC.
