To operate, press the lock button and turn the dial until the
desired compensation value click stops opposite the red index
line. On A, the shutter speed is shifted, corresponding to the
compensated amount. The red LED exposure compensation
mark ( + /-) also appears on the right side of the viewfinder after
the shutter release button is depressed halfway (except when
the shutter speed/mode selector dial is set at B or M250). After
taking the picture, return the dial to 0; otherwise incorrect
exposure will result in ordinary shooting.
