The phone stops recording
before a caller finishes his/her
message.
• The messages is longer than the REC TIME switch
setting (1 or 4 minutes). O
• The caller’s voice was too low. The phone disconnects
the line when it detects 7 seconds of silence.
• The CPC switch is set to ON when you have “call waiting
service”. Set to OFF. 9
When you call your phone
from a touch-tone phone, the
line is disconnected.
• You have entered the wrong ID code 3 times.
• You have set the CPC switch to ON. Set to OFF. 9
• If you hear a long beep, 20 seconds have passed since
you have pressed (?) to start the remote control
operation. Start over.

when you try to control
remotely from a touch-tone
phone.
• You have entered the incorrect control code. 9
CAUTION:
If you want to have the unit repaired, please bring or mail both the base unit and
the telephone handset to the Sony ^rvice Center.
Otherwise, we may not be able to repair it.
