Remote Operation from a Touch-tone Phone
When the answering machine is turned on
1 Call your phone from a touch-tone phone.
2 While you hear your outgoing message,
press (F) and your ID code.
Example; When your ID code is 48, press
(I).0.(D.
3 You hear a long confirmation beep from
your phone and the outgoing message
stops, if the code is correct.
If there are messages, you will hearths
number of messages announced.
4 Press the control code for the operation
you want within 20 seconds.
The control codes are described in the
next page.
5 To go to the next operation, press the next
control codes within 20 seconds.

Hang up when you are finished.
When the answering machine is not
turned on, or if the tape is fuii with
messages
1 Call your phone from a touch-tone phone.
2 After 10 rings, the unit will pick up and you
will hear intermittent beeps.
3 Press (D and your ID code.
4 You hear a long confirmation beep from
your phone.
If there are messages, you will hear the
number of messages announced.
5 Press the control code for the operation
you want within 20 seconds.

To go to the next operation, press the next
control code within 20 seconds.
7 Hang up when you are finished.
• n 20 seconds elapse without pressing s
control code, the line will be disconnected.
• If you do not set an ID code, the unit will not
pick up after 10 rings.
