Operating the Answering Machine from a Touch-tone Phone

You can operate the answering machine

remotely from any touch-tone phone while

you are away from your home.

Setting Your ID Code

For remote control operation, you must set

a two-digit ID code at the handset.

Press (REMOTE) on the handset.

The REMOTE lamp lights up.

Press®.

Press any two digits for the ID code.

You can use any two-digit number from

00 to 99.

Press®.

You hear a long confirmation beep when

the ID code is set.

Notes

• if you do not set an ID code, you cannot

use the remote operation.

• If a power interuption occurs when the back

up batteries are either exhausted or not
installed, the ID code will be erased. In this

case, reprogram the ID code.
