Cleaning the cabinet
Clean the cabinet with a soft cloth slightly
moistened with water or a mild detergent
solution. DO NOT use solvents such as
alcohol, benzine, or thinner, as they may mar
the finish.
Head cleaning
Dirty tape heads will harm recording and
playback quality, and may cause
malfunctioning. Clean them regularly. Open
the lid and remove the microcassette. Wipe
the head, the pinch roller and the capstan
with a cotton swab slightly moistened in
cleaning fluid or denatured alcohol. You can
also use a soft cloth.

interruption.
• After the power is restored, if the back-up
batteries are not installed or the batteries
are exhausted, “P” indication blinks in the
message counter LED. This means that the

and the current time are erased. (Press any
button on the base unit to turn off “P”
indication.) In this case, set the current
time, record the OGM and set the ID code
again.
