Without connecting adaptor

1 Connect the Video and Audio jacks on the TV and your camcorder with the AV cable. If

your TV is a monaural type, use the supplied AV connecting cable.

2 Set the IN/OUT selector on your camcorder to OUT.
3 Attach the AC power adaptor to the camcorder (in the same way as attaching a battery

pack).

4 Connect the AC power adaptor to a wall outlet.
5 Set the CHARGE/VTR switch on the AC power adaptor to VTR.

• You can use a charged battery pack instead of the AC power adaptor in step 3.

Connecting to a TV using the RFU adaptor

Put the RFU adaptor between the TV and VHF antenna cable.

Attach the AC power adaptor and the RFU adaptor directly to the camcorder.
