Removing and Replacing AC and DC Power Subsystem Components
Step 3 Eject the PEM from the chassis ( Figure 5-17 ):
a. Loosen the captive screw on the ejector lever and pivot the lever down to eject
the PEM from its bay.
b. Pull out the PEM halfway from its bay.
Note It is not necessary to completely remove the power supply. You can leave
the power supply in its bay while you replace the DC PDU.

Step 4 Remove the clear plastic safety covers over the PDUs (see Figure 5-19 ).
