A-2 Error Codes
Extended Error Codes The OC_GetExtendedError function returns error information in a
structure of type
OCEXTERR . This structure is five bytes in length and
contains the following information:
When the scanner encounters an error, the extended error code and
associated slot (if any) is written to the extended error code and slot
number fields. Error-dependent information is written to the
remaining field and the scanner goes to Idle mode.
The extended error codes that can be reported by the scanner are:
