The Sunshade can be moved by hand
into either of two positions.
1. Move the Sunshade into the
upright position to shield your child
from the sun (Photo D).
2. Lower the Sunshade fl ush with the
Upholstery when not in use.
The Sunshade has a Sunshade
Extension:
1. With the Sunshade into its
upright position, pull the Sunshade
Extension from its pocket at the
front of the Sunshade (Photo E).
2. Wrap the Sunshade Extension’s
elastic around the lower edge
of the Infant Car Seat (Photo F).

Death or Serious Injury
can occur
For safety, lower the Sunshade when
the Infant Car Seat is docked in your
vehicle.
Using the Sunshade
CRUSHING HAZARD: Never put
objects on top of the Sunshade.
The weight of objects may cause
the Sunshade to collapse.
FALL HAZARD: Never carry the
Infant Car Seat by grasping the
Sunshade.
VEHICLE COLLISION HAZARD:
Always lower the Sunshade fully
when the Infant Car Seat is in
your vehicle, otherwise driver
visibility may be impaired.
