To rotate and remove the Infant Car
Seat from the Base:
1. Grasp the Infant Car Seat fi rmly by
both Side Handles.
2. Squeeze either Release Lever
upward (Photo H). As you squeeze
the Release Levers, the Hub Locks
retract and the Infant Car Seat can
be rotated.
3. Squeeze the Release Lever fully to
lift the Infant Car Seat out of the
Base (Photo I).

Death or Serious Injury
can occur
FALL HAZARD: Grasp the Infant
Car Seat by BOTH Side Handles
when removing it from the Base.
Rotating & Removing the
Infant Car Seat
When locked into the rear-facing
position, make sure the Infant Car
Seat does not touch the back of the
seat in front of it (Photo E).
4.
CHECK the locked position by
looking at the Rotation Indicators on
the Base: if they are fully red, then re-
dock the Infant Car Seat (Photo F).
If the Rotation Indicators show red
with every docking attempt, do not
use the Infant Car Seat or Base, and
contact Orbit Baby.
5. Do a fi nal
CHECK of the Infant Car
Seat each time - pull the Infant Car
Seat in several directions (Photo G)
to be certain it is locked. A small
amount of rotational movement is
normal, but it should not rotate out
of the rear-facing position. If it does,
remove the Infant Car Seat and
contact Orbit Baby.
