Parts that are specified in the maintenance procedures of this section can be
obtained from MTS Systems Corporation. See “Contact information” on the back
of the title page to order spare parts.

Lockout/tagout

For your safety, follow all appropriate lockout/tagout procedures while
performing HPU maintenance.

Check motor overload

Verify proper operation of

Replace hydraulic fluid

inspection of heat

Look for signs of fouling or corrosion;
conduct chemical or mechanical internal
cleaning as inspection warrants.

Replace the PLC battery

Every 4000 hours or 2 years
