6.2.3

Create a project folder

Create a project folder on the Engineering PC.
Use this project folder to store the data generated in the following different project configuration

steps:

• Project data created in the »Engineer« or »EASY Starter«
• The project file created in the »PLC Designer«

Tip!
Create a separate project folder for every PROFIBUS configuration and store the project

files.

6.2.4

Commissioning the field devices

Parameterise the Lenze field devices connected to the PROFIBUS network by means of the

»Engineer« or »EASY Starter«.
PROFIBUS is exclusively configured using the »PLC Designer«.
PROFIBUS settings of the field devices which have possibly been carried out with the »Engineer«/

»EASY Starter« are overwritten.

Tip!
We recommend to commission each field device individually and then integrate them into

the PLC program.
