5. Position the telescope cylinder into the boom fly sec-
tion. Secure the barrel end in place with the retaining
pin and snap rings.
6. Install the upper telescope cylinder supports in the
boom fly section. Apply JLG Threadlocker P/N 0100011
to the bolts and torque to 40.5 ft.lbs. (55 Nm).
7. Install the upper wear pad mount onto the telescope
cylinder. Apply JLG Threadlocker P/N 0100011 to the
bolts and torque to 40.5 ft.lbs. (55 Nm).
8. Install the boom fly section and telescope cylinder as an
assembly into the boom base section.
NOTE: The telescope cylinder trunnion block must be rotated 90
degrees for installation into the boom base section.
9. Install the wear pads into the front of the boom base
sections. Apply JLG Threadlocker P/N 0100011 to the
bolts and torque to 40.5 ft.lbs. (55 Nm).
10. Secure the telescope cylinder to the boom base section
with the attach blocks and shims. Apply JLG Thread-
locker P/N 0100011 to the bolts and torque to 40.5 ft.lbs.
(55 Nm).
