Connecting the monitor cable
After you plug in the monitor’s power cord, you connect the monitor cable to
the server’s monitor port.
To connect the monitor cable:
1 Attach the monitor cable to the monitor.
On some monitors, the cable is already attached.
2 If you have a standard monitor, attach the monitor cable adapter to the monitor cable.
The monitor cable adapter comes with your server.
3 Attach the monitor cable or adapter to the server’s monitor port.
The monitor port is marked with the icon
™. To connect the cable, firmly
push it into the connector until you hear a click.
