Using the Custom Installer to solve installation problems
You can install the printer software without installing the fonts that come
with the printer. (The disadvantage is that you won’t be able to use these fonts
if you don’t already have them.)
1 Insert the Color StyleWriter 2200 Installation disk into a floppy disk drive.
If necessary, open the disk icon.
2 To start the Installer program, double-click its icon.
3 In the Welcome dialog box that appears, click Continue.
4 In the Installer dialog box, choose Custom Install.
5 In the Custom Install dialog box, click the QuickDraw Printer Software checkbox.

First, click this
checkbox. (An X

selected.)
Second, make sure
the disk named here
is the one on which
you want to install
the printer software.
(If not, click Switch
Disk until the correct
name appears.)
Finally, when you’re
ready to begin, click
Install.
