foreign material which might get into
t h e p u m p d u r i n g r e p l a c e m e n t o f t h e
s e a l .
Remove the seal retainer capscrews.
Lift the seal retainer off the flange.
Press the old seal out of the retainer.
USE EXTREME CARE IN REMOVAL OF
THE SEAL. Press it straight out of the
bore of the retainer. Do not mar the
machined face of the retainer.
