13.1 Secure Print 13
13 Function Details
This chapter describes the functions that require special attention, for example, when combining the printer
driver and panel operation of the machine.
Note
- The printer driver screens for bizhub PRESS C7000/C7000P/C6000/C70hc and bizhub PRO C6000L
are used here for explanations.
13.1 Secure Print
The Secure Print function is useful for printing confidential document because it saves print job to Hard Drive
of the machine and prints by entering password from the control panel.
The Secure Print function can be specified using the printer driver when printing, and printing can be per-
formed from the control panel.
In order to prevent information leakage, you can restrict the printings done on this machine only to the secure
printing.

13.1.1 Setting the printer driver (PS Plug-in Driver)
Perform printing with the following settings specified.
- Checking the [Secure Print] check box in the [Workflow] panel

Display the [WorkFlow] tab.

Check [Secure Print].
At this point, [Print Mode]is set at [Hold] and [Hold in] is set at [Main Body] automatically.
% It uses the screens from Windows 7 in the description.

Input [Password] and input it again in the [Again] field.
