3.3 Controlling via the RC-108 and RC-116 Presentation Controllers
The RC-108 and RC-116 are presentation controller units designed specifically
to control a system 1 . Each presentation controller has the appropriate number of
input selector buttons 2 , an RS-485 and 12V port and an RS-232
9-pin D-sub port for control and firmware upgrade.
3.4 Recommendations for Achieving the Best Performance
Achieving the best performance means:
Connecting only good quality connection cables 3 , thus avoiding
interference, deterioration in signal quality due to poor matching, and
elevated noise levels (often associated with low quality cables)
Avoiding interference from neighboring electrical appliances that may
adversely influence signal quality, and positioning your Kramer
BoardView Kit away from moisture, excessive sunlight and dust
