10. ENERGIZE THE FIXTURE BY TURNING ON THE

ELECTRICAL SUPPLY. TO CHECK THE OPERATION

OF THE FIXTURE DURING DAYLIGHT, COVER THE

PHOTOCONTROL WITH THE BOX THAT IT CAME IN.

(NEVER USE ALUMINUM FOIL OR ANY OTHER

ELECTRICALLY CONDUCTIVE MATERIAL TO COVER

THE PHOTOCONTROL.) THE FIXTURE SHOULD LIGHT

WITHIN 5 MINUTES.

NOTE: SOME MODELS OF PHOTOCONTROL WILL TURN THE

LIGHT ON AND IN A FEW MINUTES TURN OFF. THEN, AFTER

3 TO 5 MINUTES DELAY, IT WILL TURN ON. THIS IS NORMAL,

AND IT IS NOT A CAUSE FOR CONCERN. IT DOES NOT MEAN

THAT THE PHOTOCONTROL OR THE FIXTURE IS DEFECTIVE

(A DEFECTIVE PHOTOCONTROL WILL KEEP THE LIGHT ON

ALL DAY AND ALL NIGHT.)

11. REMOVE THE BOX FROM THE PHOTOCONTROL AND IT

WILL TURN OFF. AGAIN, THERE MAY BE A DELAY OF

SEVERAL MINUTES BEFORE THE LIGHT EXTINGUISHES.

THE FIXTURE IS NOW READY TO OPERATE

AUTOMATICALLY ON AT DUSK,OFF AT DAWN.

FROM THE LUMINARY OR PLUG INTO A DIFFERENT OUTLET.

INSTALLING OPTIONAL PHOTOCONTROL

8. LIFT AND ROTATE THE RECEPTACLE SO THAT THE ARROW

ON THE TOP POINTS NORTH. RELEASE THE RECEPTACLE.

PLUG THE PHOTOCONTROL INTO THE RECEPTACLE AND

TWIST IT CLOCKWISE UNTIL IT LOCKS INTO POSITION.

9. DOWNWARD PRESSURE SHOULD BE APPLIED TO THE

PHOTOCONTROL WHEN LOCKING OR UNLOCKING CONTROL

FOR REMOVAL OR INSTALLATION.
