YOKE - The yoke has 3 mounting holes, one for a 3/4"
bolt and two for 3/8" bolts. Mounting adapters are
available to allow for horizontal adjustment on pole
tops, cross arm, etc. If mounting adapters are not used
the floodlight must be aimed in the horizontal direction
desired prior to installation. Vertical adjustment is
accomplished by loosening the two clamping bolts
which hold the yoke to the housing. Rotate housing to
the desired angle by using the aiming sight located
at the top center. Tighten the clamping bolts.
MOUNTING AND AIMING
WIRING
YOKE - Optional factory pre-wired floods are furnished
with 3 feet of flexible cable ready for connection to
supply. For standard units that are not pre-wired, open
bezel by loosening the 1/4" closure screws located at top
of flood. Lift the fiber shield to expose the wiring
compartment. Remove the compression fitting and grommet,
feed cable through the wire entry hole. Slip the grommet
and compression fitting over cable and reassemble to
housing. Using the wiring diagram as a guide, make
connections to either the terminal block or the pig tails.
Multi-volt ballast are factory wired for 120 volt operation.
Be sure to use a U.L. listed, Type SJ, SO, or SJT-WA cable,
Use 14/3 cable for 1000W wattages & 16/3 min. for 400 wattages.
SLIPFITTER - The slipfiter mount slip fits onto a 2
or 2 1/2 inch tenon. Loosen the knuckle bolt to
adjust to desired vertical angle. Tighten knuckle
bolt. Rotate floodlight on the tenon to desired
horizontal angle, then tighten the set screws.
SLIPFITTER - Open access door on slipfitter mount, feed
supply wires through bottom of slipfitter mount and out
access door. Slip slipfitter mount over pole tenon and
connect supply leads to fixture wires. Push leads back
into wiring compartment of slipfitter mount and replace
cover.
