The optical assembly should be cleaned with a mild detergent

and rinsed well with clean water to maintain the efficiency

of the luminaire. See the instruction under LAMP INSTALLATION

AND SERVICE to open the bezel.

To remove the refractor, push back on the spring steel retainers

to disengaged them from the refractor and then lift the refractor

out of the bezel. To replace it, orient the "street side" of the

refractor so it is adjacent to the latch, insert it into the bezel

To remove the lens, depress the two spring slide clips and remove

lens. To replace, slide lens under rear retainer and push down.

The spring side clips will snap over glass and retain it.

To remove the lens, rotate clips riveted to side of bezel 180ù.

Then push back on the spring steel retainer located at the hinge

side of bezel, push lens up and slide out. To replace it, orient

the lens so the masked side will be inside, and the flat portion

of masked lens will be next to latch side of bezel after it is

slid in place. Rotate side clip back in place.

MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING

REFLECTOR (BOTH MODELS)

The reflector can be removed by loosening the

two captive screws, which hold it up inside of the

the housing. However, the socket electrical connector

located inside of the ballast compartment should be

disconnected first. Reverse this procedure to replace

the reflector.
To remove the bezel, position it so that it is only

partially open and then disengage it from the hinge

hooks.
NOTE: In luminaire with the OPTIONAL HINGE KEEPER

feature, the hinge keepers will have to be slid

sideways to the left (facing to the rear). "Unlock"

the hinges, to allow the hinges to be engaged or

disengaged. After engaging the hinges, the hinge

keepers should be slide over to the right (facing

to the rear) to the "locked" position to assure

that the hinges will remain engaged.

Loosen the receptacle clamping screw, rotate the

receptacle and twist it clockwise until it locks

into position.
