White balance can be fine-tuned using the func-
tion dial, or from the shooting menu. At settings
other than
±
0, icon appears in the control
panel.

When WB Bracketing is selected for Custom Setting 11 (BKT Set; 153), the camera
will create from two to three images each time the shutter is released. White balance
will be varied for each image, “bracketing” the value selected using the White Bal
menu or function dial. See “Bracketing” (
87).
The White Bal Menu
Selecting an option other than Preset in the White
Bal menu (
138) displays the menu shown at
right. Press the multi selector up or down to
choose a setting, then press the multi selector to
the right to put your choice into effect and return
to the shooting menu.
The Function Dial
With the function dial set to WB, rotate the sub-command dial.
