The MB-D100 multi-function battery pack is equipped with a ten-
pin remote terminal for remote-control and automatic photography.

Remote Cord
Remote shutter release; can be used to reduce camera
shake. Equipped with time-exposure and timer features,
emitting a beep once a second while the shutter is open.

■ AR-3 Cable Release
The AR-3 can be attached to the camera release terminal to re-
duce camera shake in situations that demand slow shutter speeds,
such as night landscape, astronomical, and close-up photography.
