Custom Setting 15: AE Lock
This option controls whether exposure will lock
while the shutter-release button is pressed half-
way.

(default)
Exposure can only be locked with the AE-L/AF-L button.

Exposure can also be locked by pressing the shutter-release

Custom Setting 16: Illumination
The control panel backlight (LCD illuminator) lights
when the LCD illuminator button is pressed. This
option controls whether the LCD illuminator will
light when any button is pressed.
