Parameters
key
Specifies a key ID. The range is 0 to 65,535. The
default is 0. When creating a new key this value must
be unique from all other key IDs on the switch.
type
Specifies the type of key, which can only be a
random RSA key.
length
Specifies the length of the key in bits. The range is
512 to 1536 bits, in increments of 256 bits (for
example, 512, 768, 1024, etc). The default is 512 bits.
This parameter is only used when creating a new
encryption key pair.
description
Specifies a description for the encryption key. The
description can be up to 40 alphanumeric
characters. Spaces are allowed. The description must
be enclosed in quotes. This parameter, which is
optional, is used when creating a new key pair and
when importing a public key from the AT-S63 file
system to the key database. This parameter should
not be used when exporting a public key to the file
system.
file
Specifies a filename for the key. The filename must
include the “.key” extension. This parameter is used
when you are importing or exporting a public key
from the key database. This parameter is not used
when creating a new encryption key pair.
format
Specifies the format when importing or exporting a
public encryption key. The options are:
