Parameters
port
Specifies the port you want to configure. You can
specify more than one port at a time, but the ports
must be of the same medium type. For example, you
cannot configure twisted pair and fiber optic ports
with the same command. You can specify the ports
individually (for example, 5,7,22), as a range (for
example, 18-23), or both (for example, 1,5,14-22).
description
A description for the port, from 1 to 15
alphanumeric characters. Spaces are allowed but do
not use special characters.
status
Specifies the operating status of the port. The
options are:
enabled
The port forwards Ethernet frames.
This is the default setting.
disabled
The port does not forward frames.
speed
Sets the speed and duplex mode of the port. The
options are:
autonegotiate The
port autonegotiates both
speed and duplex mode. This is
the default setting.
10mhalf 10
Mbps
and half-duplex mode.
10mfull 10
Mbps
and full-duplex mode.
100mhalf 100
Mbps
and half-duplex mode.
