When you receive new messages, icons display in two locations: on the phone’s screen, View Tab, and in the icon
bar at the top of the screen (see “Display Layout” on page 19.)
Icons
This list identifies the symbols you’ll see on your phone’s display screen:
Displays the received signal strength. The greater the number of bars, the stronger the signal.
Displays the UMA signal strength. The greater the number of bars, the stronger the signal.
Displays when a microSD card is detected.
Displays when a new text message was received.
Displays when a new instant message was received.
Displays when you set an alarm to ring at a specified time. For more details, see “Alarm” on page 118.
