Other Applications
In addition to the applications that come with your
Smartphone, you can also download and install other
applications as needed. The SCH-i600 contains 25MB of
memory to allow for continued expansion. Expand your
Smartphone’s capabilities even more with an optional SD
Card. An SD (Secure Digital) card can store up to a gigabyte
of data for use with your Smartphone. See “Use the SD Card”
on page 19 for more information about the SD Card.
Pocket Internet Explorer
Your Smartphone has a robust version of this popular web
browser in the convenience of a hand-held device. Pocket
Internet Explorer on your Smartphone has much of the
functionality of its PC counterpart. You can add bookmarks
for frequently visited web pages, modify connection settings,
language preferences, cookie permissions, and more.
Use Pocket Internet Explorer to view web pages on your
Smartphone two different ways:
• Download web pages then synchronize with ActiveSync
• Connect to the Internet and view web pages online
While browsing you can also download new files and
programs. If you are using Microsoft Internet Explorer version
4 or later, your favorites can be synchronized to your
Smartphone.
Launch Pocket Internet Explorer
1. At the Home Screen, press the left soft key ( )
Programs , then press until Internet Explorer is
highlighted.
2. Press . A list of Favorites appears in the display.
