Shift key converts the alphabetic character into uppercase.
Changes the text input mode to Upper/Lower case mode.

Sym key allows you to enter symbols, such as punctuation
marks.

Left Softkey (LSK) allows you to select soft key actions or
menu items corresponding to the bottom left line on the
display screen. In Idle mode, the Left softkey also provides
quick access to the Menu.

Space key inserts an empty space.

Right Softkey (RSK) allows you to select soft key actions or
menu items corresponding to the bottom right line on the
display screen. In Idle mode the right softkey also provides
quick access to Contacts.

Navigation key scrolls through the phone’s menu options
and acts as a shortcut key from Idle mode. In Idle mode:
• Up key: allows you to directly access the Media shortcut. This can
be changed to launch other applications such as: Media, Photos,
Camera, Camcorder, or Music Player)
• Down key: allows you to directly access the Web shortcut. This can
be changed to launch either the web2go or bookmarks.
• Left key: allows you to directly access the Messaging shortcut
screen. This can be changed to launch social applications such as:
Create message, Conversations, Voicemail, Email, Exchange email,
Socail Buzz, or IM.
• Right key: allows you to directly access the Social shortcut. This
can be changed to launch social applications such as: Social Buzz,
Facebook, Twitter, My Space, My Stream, Upload pic, or Facebook
chat.

Emoticons key provides access to available emoticons that
can be inserted into text fields.

Enter key moves the insertion point to the next line in a
message, similar to a carriage return.

Back key redisplays the previous screen or clears text
field entries.
The keyboard provides dual-use keys labeled with alphabetic
characters on the lower half and numbers and symbols on the
upper half. Press the key corresponding to the character you
want to enter.
