To set an alert for an event:
1. Tap the Start menu bar.
2. Tap Settings.
3. Tap the Personal tab.
4. Tap Sounds & Notifications.
5. Tap the Notifications tab.
6. Select the event from the drop-down menu.
7. Tap the check box beside either “Play sound” or
“Vibrate.”
8. If you checked Play sound, select a notification sound
for the event from the drop-down window.
9. Tap to exit.
Note: Use the Phone settings to change the ring type and tone
settings of your phone.
