To enable data retention on an existing file system using the CLI, run this command:
ibrix_fs -W -f FSNAME -o "retenMode=,retenDefPeriod=,retenMinPeriod=,
retenMaxPeriod="
To enable data retention on an existing file system, created with IBRIX version 6.0 or earlier, follow
the steps to upgrade the file system as described in the
HP IBRIX 9300/9320 Storage Administrator
Guide in the section, Upgrading the IBRIX software to the 6.2 release. Then, configure the file
system retention profile as described in the steps provided earlier in this section.
Viewing the retention profile for a file system
To view the retention profile for a file system, select the file system on the GUI, and then select
WORM/Data Retention from the lower navigator. The WORM/Data retention panel shows the
retention profile.
To view the retention profile from the CLI, use the ibrix_fs -i command, as in the following
example:
