If you already have Vhosts defined, you can select an existing Vhost from the
On the Settings page, set the appropriate parameters for the share. Note the following:
•
When specifying the URL Path, do not include http://
this in the URL path. For example, /reports/ is a valid URL path. Do not specify just a slash
(/) as a URL path. It must contain a text string. The beginning and ending slashes of the path
are optional. For example, /reports/, reports, and /reports are valid entries and will
be stored as /reports/. For REST (Object) API shares, do not define a URL path of more
than one directory level such as reports/sales ; however, your single-directory URL path can
correspond to any arbitrarily deep directory path on the IBRIX file system.
•
The WebDAV option is greyed out for HTTP-StoreAll REST API shares, and it is always selected
because every StoreAll REST API share is also a WebDAV-enabled share.
•
When the WebDAV feature is enabled for a standard HTTP share, the share becomes a
readable and writable medium with locking capability. The primary user can make edits,
while other users can only view the resource in read-only mode. The primary user must unlock
the resource before another user can make changes.
•
Set the Anonymous field to false only if you want to restrict access to specific users.
