for licensed files, the SYNCUSER must be super.super; for progid’ed files, the
user must be the owner or the owner’s manager or SUPER.SUPER and,

the destination ASYSYNC process (or ASYSYNCP if synchronizing over
TCP/IP) must be licensed to allowed it to run as a local process.
Licensing Synchronization Processes
To license ASYSYNC and ASYSYNCP, simply logon as SUPER.SUPER and at the
TACL prompt:
FUP LICENSE ASYSYNC
FUP LICENSE ASYSYNCP
