HALT IMPACT: How system performance would be affected if the
processor failed. Notice in the example that the failure of CPU 0
would result in a significant shortage of available memory on the
other processors.
The Processor Performance Chart also provides the following summary data for the entire
node:
(15)
CPU Count: The total number of processors.
(16)
Avg CPU Busy (^): The average of the percentage busy time for all
processors.
(17)
TUNING WINDOW (w): The amount by which the percentage busy time
of any processor on the node can vary from the average for all
processors without being considered out of balance. This value
depends on the degree to which the system is utilized (see Item 15
above); the higher the percentage utilization, the smaller the tuning
window.
(18)
PCB Count: The total number of PCBs for all processors.
(19)
Node SWAP Rate: The total number of page swaps per second.
(20)
VOLUME Count: The total number of disk volumes.
(21)
Interrupt Busy (+): The portion of the CPU time spent processing
interrupts.
