Error Reports
The final kind of report that GPA provides is the error report which GPA writes to the
GPALOG.101 file. The GPA Error Report informs you of system errors and diagnoses
them. There are two types of errors that can occur:
Fatal errors that cause GPA to terminate.
Non-fatal errors, on which GPA bases its performance-enhancing
recommendations.
Example 4-46 is an example of an error report that contains both fatal and non-fatal errors.
