Note
This applies only to the process class optional reports: SYSTEM, SERVER, SUBSYSTEM,
TRANSIENT, PATHWAY, and OTHER. The rest of the optional reports are described in
Section 4: Using GPA Information
When you specify the summary option, you receive the Process Distribution Analysis for
the class. When you specify the detail option, you receive all five sections. The
optional report enables you to perform several more detailed analyses than the
standard report does. With it you can:
Identify programs or process names within a class that are consuming the
most resources.
See how programs or process names within a class are distributed among the
processors in the system.
Analyze programs or process names within a class in terms of their
processing profile, which includes: CPU utilization, queue length, messages
sent, and messages received.
