7. Review the parameters, then click Create. Click OK for confirmation. A confirmation is displayed
indicating that the Datastore is created.
NOTE: If you choose “ESXi Cluster”, the storage is assigned to the ESXi Cluster hosts. Otherwise,
the storage is only created on the selected host.
NOTE: If the selected ESXi host is connected to a storage system and currently does not have
LUNs exposed to the host, you need to log in to the summary page and create an entry for the
storage system. For more information, refer to
“HP 3PAR StoreServ Storage System login” (page
16) .
