Inserting and Removing Tape Cartridges
Remove the tape magazine from the tape drive to insert or remove tape
cartridges. When inserting tape cartridges, check that the slot intended for use is
not already reserved in the server map for a tape cartridge in a tape drive. To
avoid conflicts, unload the tape drive, either through the server software or by
using the Load/Unload command on the Main menu, described earlier in this
section.
To insert or remove the tape magazine the control panel must be unlocked;
otherwise, it is impossible to enter the Menu mode.
