Troubleshooting

Verify if any member of the super group is added explicitly to the SECURITY-
MEDIA-ADMIN group.

The MEDIACOM SPR is the latest, and the requisite standard security and
Safeguard SPRs are installed on the system.
Scenario 5: System is configured to allow only a non-super user to execute the
MEDIACOM commands listed in
Table 4-1 , but the super user is also able to execute
these commands.
To troubleshoot this issue, verify the following:

Safeguard is running on the system. For more information, see Safeguard
Reference Manual.

To deny the super user from executing the commands, configure the super
user as DENIABLE, and then set a DENY ACL for the super user in the
SECURITY-ADMIN-ADMIN group.
Scenario 6: System is configured to allow only a non-super user to execute the
operations listed in
Table 4-1 , but the non-super user is denied permission to execute
the operation.
To troubleshoot the issue, verify all the criteria listed in the scenario 1.
