Adding Existing Prelabeled Tapes
To add existing prelabeled tapes to the pools:
MC>add tapevolume ans000,count 100,pool ansi_pool,

volcat default_catalog
100 tape volumes added.
MC>add tapevolume bkc000,count 100,pool backup_cart,type
cart3480,

volcat default_catalog,labels backup
100 tape volumes added.
MC>add tapevolume bko000,count 100,pool backup_open,type open,

volcat default_catalog,labels backup
100 tape volumes added.
MC>add tapevolume ibm000,count 100,pool ibm_pool,density 6250,

volcat default_catalog,labels ibm
100 tape volumes added.
Labeling New Tapes
To label new tapes to put in the pools:
MC>label tapevolume (ans100),count 2,tapedrive $tape,

pool ansi_pool, volcat default_catalog,prompt off

2 tape volumes labeled.
Adding Other Pools, Catalogs, and Tapes
You can now add various user catalogs, pools, and tapes. To add a file catalog that will
be used by an operations group:
MC>create filecat operations,subvol $data4.ops,secure "gggg"
1 file catalog created.
