To install the component:
1.
Power down the server (on page

Remove all power:

Disconnect each power cord from the power source.
b.
Disconnect each power cord from the server.

Unlock the tower bezel ("

Remove the access panel (on page

Remove the drive cables.
6.
Install the storage controller into slot 1.

Connect the storage controller cable to the controller and to the drive.

Lock the tower bezel.

Connect each power cord to the server.

CAUTION:
To prevent a server malfunction or damage to the equipment, do not add or remove
the battery pack while an array capacity expansion, RAID level migration, or stripe size migration
is in progress.
