Disconnect each power cord from the server.

Remove all installed drives.

Disconnect the drive cage cables.

Using a T-15 Torx screwdriver, remove the four screws, and then remove the drive cage assembly.

8.

Slide the optional drive cage assembly partially into the server chassis.

9.

Connect the drive backplane cables:

a.

Connect the power cable to the backplane.

Connect the I

C cable.

c.

Do one of the following:

Connect the Mini-SAS cable to the system board (SATA drive support only).
