Click on the logic toolbar to start a program that is written to the controller, the Logic running LED on the base unit
should be ON when a logic program is running. To stop a logic program running click on the logic toolbar and the
logic running LED should switch off.
TRACE MODE
Trace mode allows a user to monitor a logic program as it is running. After a logic program is started click on the
logic tool bar.
Any active parts of the circuit are highlighted in green
As the output of a function block becomes active (1) a green triangle is shown on the top left corner of the block.
Current timer and counter values are also shown within the logic block and will show changes as they occur.
While trace mode is on the logic desktop will be in read only mode, no changes to the function block can be made.
To exit trace mode click on .
Note :
As windows is not a real time operating system there may be a delay from when an action occurs at the controller to
when it is displayed within CALogix-sw. This delay may be reduced by closing down other applications whilst CALogix-sw
is running.
