BASE UNIT SETUP
To access settings for a base unit
1.
Right-click on controller image.
2.
Mouse over properties, then left-click on base-unit, see diagram above.
3. Double-click
on
(+)
to expand menus.
4. Base-unit settings are shown as below.

The network baud rate can be read. CALogix baud rate is automatically set on power-up to match the baud rate used by the Modbus
master.

The base-unit Modbus address can be set to a value of 1 to 255. A maximum of 31 base-units can be connected in a network.

Note :
If the Modbus address is changed CALogix-sw will loose communications with the base-unit as it is still
communicating using the original address. If the address is changed, exit CALogix-sw and browse for the controller using
