4. Program M330 Controller according to the procedure below.
To gain access to the custom program, refer to the 4 square buttons on the face of the
controller and use this procedure.
1. Press 1 until ACCESS appears.
2. Press 2.
3. Press 4 until Level 3 appears.
4. Press 4 until 3 appears. Wait.
5. Press 1 until ALARMS and Summary Page appears.
6. Press 4 until 0 OUT 100 appears.
7. Press 2 until Alm1 Type, Rate of Change appears.
8. Press 2 until display shows Alm1 Setpoint.
9. Use UP/DWN buttons (3 and 4) to set this value to 25.
10. Press 2 until ALARMS, 0 OUT 100 appears.
11. Press 4 until User 2 Page appears.
12. Press 2 until Setpoint, 100 appears.
13. Use UP/DWN buttons (3 and 4) to set this value to 150.
14. Press 1 until 0 OUT 10, SP Page appears.
15. Press 2 until Rate Limit Val, 10 appears.
16. Use UP/DWN buttons (3 and 4) to set this value to 20.0.
17. Press 2.
18. Press 1.
19. When finished and to lock the controller, press 1 until ACCESS appears.
20. Press 2
21. Press 3 until Level 1 appears.
22. Press the round center button located above 2 and 3.
5. Close the rear cover and operate the M330. Set the blackbody temperature setpoint to
1600 °C. If the M330 does not reach 1600 °C in about 80 minutes after it reaches 300C,
you may have to re-adjust the SCR I-max control as described below.
